The Commitment to Excellence

The late owner of the Oakland Raiders, Al Davis, famously adopted the phrase, "The Commitment to Excellence", as a motto of the Raiders and expected all members of the organization to live by that creed.  I am a fan of this phrase.

People who have been charged with a State or Federal crime, or who have been injured in an accident, in my experience, do not want to be "just another case" for their lawyer.  They want their lawyer invested, as they are, not only in the outcome of their case but how it impacts them personally.

In nearly every case I am involved in, a client's freedom, driver's license, job, marriage, health, children, etc. is in jeopardy to some degree.  Whether their constitutional rights were allegedly violated during the arrest or whether another person caused them injury, or a loved one death, they expect their lawyer to vindicate their loss and to understand the side-effects of their legal problem.  I understand this.

My goal as an attorney is that when my client's case is over is for that client to say about me, "Brady cares and he is also very good at his job."
